ATEM control by Echolab Overture 1 panel

Hi guys

We're considering creating control of the BMD ATEM series switchers with the old Echolab Overture 1 panel.

Does anybody knows if this have already been done?

Would it be of interest for any of you here at the forum? Are they lying around just waiting to be cleaned of dust and put back into work, or have they been thrown out?

Any inputs are welcome - thanks.

1000% yes

we have 2 older panels one that is still in use daily and hope the switcher never fails ... we also have 3 atem switchers and would love to add this capability to the fleet!!!

we also have an opera 3716 pannel that i would assume could be mapped to 2me ?? i thnk they use the same protocol as the overture series ...

this would be truly awesome !!

Unfortunately

the guys who approached us first where not able to both provide panel and switcher :-/ We need both in order see if we can make a working prototype.

So if anyone out there is interested in such a solution and willing to borrow us some equipment please contact us and we can work something out.

Regards

Hi Bjørn I might be able to

Hi Bjørn

I might be able to lend you my original Echolab ATEM and control panel. How long would you need to have it for? I'm a bit concerned to ship it to you as it is reasonably fragile and obviously will be impossible to get repaired if it is damaged.

Let me know if you want to pursue this idea.

cheers

Ask Baz

I know two kits for connecting no BM-consoles to BM-ATEMs

1.) Lefflerpost's kit for using a Grass Valley 110 console and

2.) Also designed by lefflerpost a kit for Datavideo RMC260

http://www.lefflerpost.com.au/gvg2atem

I never read about a kit connecting Echolac consoles to BM-ATEMs.....
