Arduino with BI8 board - Send tally command to Smartview Duo?

Hey there,

I'm wondering if someone has successfully programmed the tally commands on an Arduino Controller, in order to change the tally borders on a Smartview Duo monitor. I've tried to do that without success on my DIY skaarhoj controller, which has 2 BI8 boards and an Arduino Mega, controlling an ATEM 4K Studio mixer.

The idea is to change the tally borders on a Smartview Duo, so the camera operator knows when he can or he cannot move the robotic cameras.

Any idea will be very much appreciated!

Some more info

I also wanted to share the information about the Smarview's TCP protocol. We have found this:

And this:

However, we haven't been able to send the commands to the Smartviews...

Nice

Yes, that's exactly the behaviour I'm looking for.

Any help regarding how to program it with Arduino? I know it has to be simple... Our arduino controller already has some code inside using the skaarhoj libraries, the thing is that I don't know how to add a connection to the smartview and send the right command to lighten up the color borders...

Solved in JM

We were able to use a JustMacros program to solve this specific problem. However, JM is buggy when working whith Smartviews because the functions are not well designed and you have to make a couple of workarounds, but it seems to do the job for now.
