ATEM Production Studio 4k audio is choppy

Hi Hey everyone! I am streaming onto YouTube but running into very very strange audio issues. I am not sure what it is, so I am going to detail my setup. The video is running from Sony cameras via HDMI into the switcher.  The audio is running from a Behringer x32 by stereo XLR's into the 8 camera ATEM Production Studio 4k from there via HDMI out into a Teradek vidiu to YouTube. The video runs fine, but the audio is horrible! It sounds like its clipping but we have checked and equalized every mic, instrument, compressor. Our recordings of all 32 channels from the Behringer to a mac via Firewire do not have any issues at all. Thus we are doubtful that it’s the Behringer. We also tried with an analog board with no improvement. When we stream via Livestreams broadcaster we still have the same issues with audio clipping. We checked everything from changing all the cables and connections with no improvement. Does anyone know if it’s a setting in the 4 K Studios? Any help would be much appreciated! Hopefully it’s a simple solution. Thank you all in advance!!!

It doesn't sound like it's clipping, it sounds like it's dropping out.  Were you recording the program feed as well as streaming it?  Just to confim the issue isn't with the upload to YouTube.

It does seem like it is the

It does seem like it is the VidiU -> YouTube piece. Either the VidiU isn't keeping up, or the connection to the network isn't keeping up. The audio only seems to drop out when camera cuts are fast and furious. You may wish to change the encoding settings, or do a manual ingest (rather than using the slick event based system that Teradek provide) I have noticed that the VidiU seems to do variable bit rate encoding - YouTube complains that my data rate is too low when I start a broadcast on a slide, stops complaining when I go to live video.

The part you haven't checked is the embedded audio from your line cut. If that is solid, then your problem is with the VidiU. If there are problems with the embedded audio, I would try adding sync to your switcher. Still problems, try connecting camera converted SDI to your switcher.
